Dubai is a city and emirate in the United Arab Emirates known for its luxurious shops, ultramodern architecture and lively nightlife.      3. Ski Dubai

Dubai, the ultimate tourist destination, also boasts of the first indoor ski resort in the Middle East, Ski Dubai. It is, in fact, just another example of Dubai's uninhibited fantasies set perfectly in perspective.

A 6-lane freeway bridge leads to the man-made island that clearly stands out among all the other Dubai attractions. The Wonder is also home to the popular Atlantis - The Palm and a series of exciting theme parks.

     5. Dubai Desert

With its goal of protecting the biodiversity of Arab deserts, the Dubai Desert Conservation Center is a natural habitat for the region's flora and fauna. In addition to this, it also has many exotic migratory birds that visit during different times of the year. Get up close and personal with the hawks and enjoy camels, horseback riding, archery and sandboarding among many other activities offered by the Conservation Center.
